Taking Flight: Birds of Prey

Part of the Spring 2021 Nature Adventures Series

Nature Adventures is a virtual learning program aligned with NC Standard Course of Study (Grades 2 through 7) teaching standards provided for FREE for educators and families.

In this exciting adventure, students will learn about birds of prey with LIVE animals!

Students will explore general concepts of physics such as lift, force, and aerodynamics, with live animals as examples. Students will also learn how the shape, color, and characteristics of birds impact their habitat and diet.
